SN65HVD22: Is this counterfeit

Part Number: SN65HVD22

Hello, I have an RS-485 chip that I'm not sure if it's conterfeit or not. I have attached a picture of the chip in question. Markings on the bottom are KA024 and KB721. I have attached a picture of one of the chips.U18 Chip.jpg

    Hi Greg,

    I did an initial check, and everything seems correct. I can pull this up in our internal system, but it is always possible that a counterfeiter just copied another legitimate SN65HVD22. 

    Can you share where you sourced the transceivers from? Was it from our ti.com store or a distributor like Arrow, Digikey, etc?

    What makes you think this could be a counterfeit?
