Hi Far,

If you are looking to mux/demux out for standard SPI interface you would be requiring at least 3 channels (MOSI,MISO,SCLK since CS line can be tied together), so 2 of these devices would need to be used for SPI.

As for the device's specifications being compatible with SPI it should work as it meets the minimum requirements, but is verified for usage with the USB2.0 protocol and not SPI. If you would like more of a guarantee for SPI compatibility, I would recommend looking at the Protocol & Bus Switches & Muxes catalog to find a device that is explicitly stated and verified for SPI usage.
