Hello, a question regarding the TCAN4550.

Is the core clock (OSC, OSC1) required (running) for reading the Device ID registers via SPI?

    Hello AP,

    No, only the SPI clock is required to read the Device ID registers, or any register between address 0x0000 and 0x000C.  However, the core clock on the OSC pins is required to read or write any other register or MRAM location.
