Part Number: TUSB2E221
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TUSB2E22
The TUSB2E221 is TI's latest eUSB2 2-port repeater, and offers a variety of updates and improvements to confirm to the eUSB2 V1.2 spec. Some of the updates are as follows:
- 1.2V and 1.8V I2C support
- eUSB2 Auto-resume ECR support
- 1.2V or 1.8V I2C support via the VIOSEL pin
- BC1.2 CDP support
- Carkit UART support
Additionally, the TUSB2E221 has four different variant that allow for multiple repeaters to utilize the same I2C bus.
Aside from device functionality changes, there are also pinout differences between the two devices.
