TPD6E001: component selection

I cannot seem to find the absolute max ratings of the pins you have requested. Can you please share this? It looks like the max operating voltage of all pins is 3.6V so I would recommend an ESD diode with a VRWM of 3.6V. To verify clamping voltage, I require the abs max rating of the pins.

Please find the electrical characteristics for the LCD display below. The display operates at 3.3 V with a maximum VDD of 3.6 V.

Relevant details:

• Supply Voltage (VDD): 3.0 V min, 3.3 V typ, 3.6 V max
• VIH: 2.2 V min to VDD
• VIL: 0.6 V max
• Backlight Voltage (VLED): 2.7 V min, 3.0 V typ, 3.3 V max

Based on the specifications, the signal lines are expected to operate within the 3.3 V logic range. Please suggest a suitable ESD protection device accordingly

Looks like the operating voltage is very close to abs max rating which limits the ESD protection solutions we can use. Unfortunately, we do not have a solution for this.

I recommend finding a TVS diode with a VRWM of 3.3V that clamps around 3.6V.

TPD8E003 looks like a good option to me. Please let me know your thoughts on it and any concerns you have.

Additional testing would have to made to ensure that this is okay during ESD strikes. Clamping voltage is above downstream IC abs max rating so please ensure that this is okay for your IC. Also, is this cap okay for your LCD display? I want to make sure that signal integrity is ok.
