Hi Jessie,

TCA9539 does not contain any non-volatile memory. All user-programmed register settings are cleared upon power cycling or a /RESET toggle.

Can I be provided a letter of volatility, I also need need to know if the chip has volatile memory.

Hi Jessie,

This device does have volatile memory as it has internal registers that can be set / hold information.

There is no formal letter of volatility.
