TS3DV642-Q1: TS3DV642A0RUAR circuit confirmation

Part Number: TS3DV642-Q1

Hi

Please help TS3DV642A0RUAR circuit confirmation, cause the CLK Switch only has I2C as a working connection, I'm wondering if this will have any impact.

  • Hi Kevin,

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the CLK switch only having I2C as a working connection?

As far as your schematic goes, everything seems to look correct so far with the correct decoupling capacitors and resistors being utilized.

    Best regards,

  • Hi

We are concerned about a potential bandwidth limitation issue since the DSI CLK is connected to the switch IC's I2C pins. Please help confirm if this configuration is completely okay. Thanks!

  • Hi Kevin,

The TS3DV642-Q1 supports differential bandwidths of -3dB from DC up to 5.8GHz so there should not be any bandwidth issues.

Since you are using it for a DSI based application, I would recommend connecting the DSI CLK+ signal to the switch ICs HPD pin and the DSI CLK- signal to the CEC pin as shown in the datasheet's systems examples for DSI switching below.

    Best regards,

    Yonathan
