Hello,

I couldn't understand from the datasheet if the MUX has internal clock source and I can leave pin #22 float / connected to GND

In case it does have internal clock, please explain in which case I must connect external reference for this CLK input

Hi Anat,

Yes, this device has an internal CLK (32KHz). Please refer to table 9 below. If internal CLK is used, consider writing 0 to the External Clock Control register:

thank for the reply

I saw this table, but didn't see anywhere else in the datasheet description of the internal clock

I don't need to write 0 to the register, this is the default value at power-up/reset

I'm missing details on the internal clock, how to connect the CLK pin when using the internal clock and in which case I must connect external 32KHz
