Hello Manu,

The input series resistance (and input capacitor) needed will depend on your desire ESD performance. Meaning the values will change if either 8-kV or 15-kV. See TIC12400-Q1 ESD Test Report for more information.

Another thing to point out is the value of the series resistor. You want to keep the value low so it doesn't impact your voltage reading.
