BZX84WC16V-Q1: Selecting a very low Iz zener diode

Hello Team,
We are looking for a zener diode that can operate stable at very low zener current of 1uA to 5uA (maximum up to 10uA).
The zener voltage can be anywhere between 10V and 20V.


Can anyone please suggest a zener suitable for our appliacation?.

    What is your application here? We currently do not specify a our zeners to this current. I did some testing in the past for 50uA, and it started to be quite unstable at 15V which is the lowest zener voltage we have (above 10V). We are releaseing some new zener voltages soon (10V,11V,12V,13V). My guess is that these will be more stable at lower zener current. I will be testing this at 50uA; I can add a testing condition at 5uA and see what I get.

    We are planning to use the MOSFET driver VODA1275 in one of our products.
    As you can see from the datasheet, the open circuit voltage  (VOC) can go up to 24V and the maximum Gate-Source voltage of the MOSFET selected was 20V.
    The short circuit current of the MOSFET driver is only about 20uA.


    So, we have to regulate the OC Voltage to a limit below the absolute gate source voltage of the FET.

    We are releaseing some new zener voltages soon (10V,11V,12V,13V). My guess is that these will be more stable at lower zener current. I will be testing this at 50uA; I can add a testing condition at 5uA and see what I get.

    Could you please provide the estimated release date for the new diodes?

    We are releasing the zener voltages 10V,11V,12V and 13V for DYF package only, this year in the second week of December. This will have zener current in the mA range only though. DBZ and DCK estimated release is 2Q2027.

    We have kicked of low precision zener (targeting zener current of 50uA with a 2% tolerance) already, but the estimate RTM is next year 4Q2027.
