Hi

  1. The MCU's DSI has frame rate limits of 30 FPS and 60 FPS.
  2. The MCU provides 2x MIPI DSI (2-lane, 2.5 Gb/s DPHY) interfaces.

Under the second condition (Binocular: Dual 1080p @ 30 Fps via 2-lane Port A / 2-lane Port B @ 2.5 Gb/s DPHY), is it possible to convert this MIPI signal into dual 1080p @ 60 fps LVDS outputs (LVDS A and LVDS B) in a side-by-side configuration?

    Hi Kevin,

    The DSI85 cannot change the actual frame rate or resolution of the video, it can only convert MIPI DSI input to LVDS video output.

    The resolutions supported are limited to up to 1 Gbps per data lane and max DSI clock rate of 500 MHz.

    Could you please share a diagram to explain the configuration you are looking for including the input and output video resolutions. Please include the resolution, LVDS configurations, and DSI configuration (rate, data lanes used, etc). This would help us to understand your requirements better to provide a suitable solution.
