Hello, I am SJ from Opticore.

 

We were using the DS560DF810EVM to create 25G PAM4 signal with two 25G NRZ signal.

 

But we realized there were no clock_output to trigger the Osciloscope (DCA).

It seems J3 is giving out the cal_clock of the J100, which is cal_clk_in which is 25G NRZ.

 

How do we get a 25G PAM4 clock trigger output? (ex- Change the settings in the board)

    Hi SJ,

    Depending on what scopes you have available, scope may have CDR lock capability.  This could reduce the need for clock trigger output.  For example, DCA-X has this capability.

    The DS560DF810 does not have a recovered clock output.  The cal_clock is in a different clock domain than the data.

    As an alternative, can you use a trigger from your 25G NRZ pattern generator?
