Dear Technical Support Team,
The DS320PR1601 datasheet states: "Intel retimer common footprint compatible".
At the same time, the metal pads of the recommended footprint are smaller than the "Intel common footprint retimer".
Can we use Intel common footprint retimer? if so, how can this affect the PCIe quality?
