Hello Jiawei,

Since our muxes are bidirectional, the TCA9548A-Q1 should support multiple masters and one slave applications.

Note that the control register of the TCA9548A-Q1 can be accessed only from the SCL/SDA upstream bus and from any currently enabled downstream channel. The switch powers up with all channels disabled, so there must be a master on the upstream bus.

Hi Clemens, Caroline, so TCA9548-Q1 doesn't support 4 masters 1 slave application. Is there any device we can support this scenario? Thanks!

Hi Jiawei,

Our muxes are bidirectional and can pass I2C signals either way, but, if you are looking for I2C-controlled muxes, we don't have any particularly for multiple masters and single slave applications.
