We are wondering why the part "DP83826IRHBT" is delivered with two different MSL.

According to the labels the manufacturing site and date code ist the same.

According to your Homepage MSL is Level 1!

Hi Alexander,

I have seen a case in the past where a device was requalified for MSL1 from MSL2. When this happens, the current inventory will still carry the MSL2 rating and all newly produced devices will use the MSL1 rating.

I do see that in a previous revision of the datasheet this part was denoted as MSL2 so I believe this is what has happened. Judging from the labels these devices were purchased in February and April of 2023 correct?

Hi Shane,

we received the components this month, for a total of 6k. Two reels (250 pieces each) were MSL1, and the rest were all MSL2. The Bag Seal Date was February (MSL2) and April (MSL1) of 2023. Can you provide me with the relevant PCN for the change from MSL2 to MSL1?

Hi Alex,

It seems that because this was an improvement in the device MSL, no PCN was issued. Essentially customers who had been using this as MSL2 would have no impact continuing to use it that way.

Because of this, I do not have a PCN to share. If there's anything else I can help with certainly let me know.
