TMUX1308A-Q1: Output spike during channel changes

Hi team,

My customers found that there is an around 0.6V spike at the D pin ouptut of TMUX1308A-Q1 during the changes of A0/A1/A2, while this was not happening each time the A0-A2 pin changes. Waveform as below.

What could be the reason of such spike? I think might because of the signal coupling from the A0-A2 to the output/inputs. Pls help check the schematics as well and give some suggestions on this, thanks.

Would you be able to provide a PDF of the schematic by chance? The spike could be a built up charge.

Hi Arya,

Unfortunately they cannot share the pdf version. While they provided 2 more clear version screenshot, could you pls help check them?

Also, for the built up charge, could you pls explain in more details? can customers take any action to avoid this?

Hi Manu,

From the scope shots the D pin is seeing the spike. Do you have a scope shot of the input signal also?

So from the scope shots, A0 A1 A3 are being toggled high and low and during the sequence
(A0:L, A1:H, A2:L)

So S2 would be the input pin.
