DS320PR810: Choose between multiple configuration

Hello,

I got a single redriver, but the link needs to support both PCIe gen4 and gen5, so I got multiple configurations. I am using SigCon Architect to genarate hexfile. I understand we can save multiple configurations in the EEPROM. Can we choose one of the configurations based on an external request (Like Config0 for Gen4 and Config1 for Gen5)?

Below are my configs.

Config 0 -- EQ Index 5

Config 1 -- EQ Index 15

    Hi Muhammed,

    We've generally seen that if an EQ boost index links-up for gen5, then the same EQ boost should also link-up for gen4. This is because there is less insertion loss at lower frequencies.  

    Can you try your system at Gen4 with the same EQ setting as Gen5?
