DP83867E: RGMII interface Eye mask Constraints

Hi Team,

 

We are using DP83867E part in our custom design for RGMII interface. We are supposed to do Signal integrity simulation for these signals. Could you please share the eye mask constraints for the RGMII TX and RX signals if it is available.

    Hi Mythili,

    There are no eye mask constraints on RGMII as far as I'm aware. RGMII has setup and hold timings between the clock and data that need to be met, which are mentioned in the DP83867 datasheet:

    These timings are defined in the RGMII spec as well. So long as the setup and hold timings are met RGMII should work.
