TUSB322I: DPF mode only, Does pin "VBUS_DET" still need to be connected to 900Kohm?

In terms of application, the USB-C port (Host only) on the board is only used to connect external USB devices. Does pin "VBUS_DET" still need to be connected to 900Kohm?

 

NOTE:  We use TUSB542 + TUSB322I.

    Hi Sophie,

    If only DFP mode is being used, this 900KOhm resistor is not required. The VBUS_DET pin can be left floating.

    If any other mode could potentially be used, this resistor should be left.
