Is it possible to have a single TCA9548A downstream on each port of the TCA9543A? Addressing the TCA9548A through the TCA9543A seems to be giving me trouble in the firmware. Not sure if I've designed a system that cannot work, and wanted some clarification.

    Each bus swich introduces an additional voltage drop, and each bus segment that could be disabled should have its own set of pull-up resistors. But if the voltages and currents are designed correctly, and if you ensure that no two devices with the same address are enabled at the same time, then this should work.
