Hi Team,

Could you suggest whether we have way to swap DS90UB984 FPDLINK port Lane swap, the case is the cable wrongly connect 983 OUT0 to  984 IN1, actually it needs connect to 984 IN0, but as the cable physical reason,  it can not re-map 983 OUT0 to 984 IN0, so customer want to know whether DS90UB984 have register can remap the 984 IN1 recieve stream to act as 984 IN0 receive stream. Which can be thought as FPD Link port swap.

We have find  register for DP side lane swap and stream ID map for DP, but for FPDLink port side swap, we didnt' find correct one, could you confirm whether we have correct mechansim to achieve this purpose?

    Hi Thomas,

    These devices support the ability to swap the polarity of RIN*+ and RIN*-, but swapping RIN0 and RIN1 altogether is not supported. The customer will need to change the PCB, or manually change the cable so that the ports are swapped.
