Part Number: DS90CF384A
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90CF386, DS90C385A
Hello team,
I am working on a new carrier board design based on the Compulab UCM-iMX8M-Plus System-on-Module (NXP i.MX8M Plus SoC). I am using the DS90CF384AMTDX/NOPB as the LVDS-to-parallel RGB bridge between the SoM LVDS output and a Rocktech RK070CU03-CTG 7-inch 1024x600 RGB 24-bit TFT panel. I have a few questions I would like to confirm before finalising the schematic.
SYSTEM PARAMETERS FOR REFERENCE
---------------------------------
SoC: NXP i.MX8M Plus (Quad, 1.8 GHz)
SoM: Compulab UCM-IMX8PLUS-C1600QM-D4-N32-E-TIC
Bridge IC: DS90CF384AMTDX/NOPB (SNLS040I Rev I)
Panel: Rocktech RK070CU03-CTG (1024x600, 24-bit RGB, DCLK 40.8-51.2-67.2 MHz)

Question 1 : Will the TI DS90CF384A, be able to take the LVDS signals from the SoM independandtly ? Or does it only support its Transmitter Counterpart ?
Question 2: If it wont work, shall i replace it with the DS90CF386 ? Or any other that you can suggest?
