Part Number: DP83822HF
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-00928
Hi Steen,
I do not see any content in this post. Is there any information you can give on this?
I will mark as resolved for now but please reply if support is needed.
Best,
Shane
Hello Shane,
Are there any application notes where the DP83822HFRHBR VDDIO is 1.8V? Interested in signal detect pin, input / termination when used with AFBR-5803Z. The AFBR-5803Z signal detect pin output is 2,42V Max and the DP83822 signal detect hig level has VDDIO voltage level (in my case 1.8V).
Does TI have support outside of public forums?
Among other things in TIDA-00928 application note, the DP83822 part (schematic library) used has errors. eg. "LED_0/GPIO1/SD" pin24 is named "CLK_O".
/Steen
Hi Steen,
We have the DP83822EVM, which is a test platform that can be configured for 1.8V VDDIO. Are you able to test your fiber module with this EVM. Your module looks to be a different form factor than the SFP that can be populated on this EVM, but I'm not aware of app notes that implement a design with 1.8V VDDIO.
DP83822 has a max voltage of VDDIO+0.3V on this pin, so I wouldn't recommend going above that on signal detect. Perhaps a level shifter can be used?
