TFP410: AC coupling and impedance

I have a question about the TFP410.

Q1

Generally, it seems that a 0.1 uF AC coupling capacitor is connected in series with the TMDS (TX) signal output line.
However, the TFP410 datasheet and other documentation do not mention adding a capacitor.
It states that the TX signal is routed directly from the device to the connector and that no external components are required.

Is it acceptable to omit the AC coupling capacitor?

When designing the PCB, should the differential impedance of the traces be 100 ohm?

    TMDS is a DC-coupled interface, so AC coupling capacitors on the TMDS main link are not required.

    The differential impedance is 100ohm.
