TUSB8043A: USB HUB CONTROLLER - Crystal frequency issue and output interface not working

Part Number: TUSB8043A

Dear Team,

We are facing an issue in the USB HUB Controller of part (TUSB8043AIRGCT), We have verified that all the input power supply to to the IC is proper and unable to see the 24MHz clock frequency.

We have changed the crystal IC part and checked, still the same behaviour.

Find the attached snapshot of schematic attached and support us in debugging.

    Hi Nitin:

       Can you take waveform for 1.1v/3.3v/GRSTz ?

      Did you see hub detected by host?

      Can you plug downstream port device and test again?

      how do you control downstream port Vbus?

    Dear Zhou,

    Kindly find the waveform captured below for further inputs.

    1. 1V1 power supply

    2. 3V3 power supply

    3. GRSTz

    4.USB hub not being detected and down stream device also were not working.

    Kindly suggest us the inputs for the further debugging.

    HI Nitin:

       Can you help to check following items:

    1: What voltage on USB_VBus pin?

    2: Can you provide schematic for pins below?

    3: Can you provide schematic for PRWCTLx and Overcur#? did you see Overcurr# low?

    4: Can you take wave for XI and 1.1v/3.3v together?

    5; Did you place caps close to supply pin of hub in PCB layout ?
