TMUX1308A-Q1: Regarding the need for capacitor in the Source pins

Hi Team,

 

We are using TMUX1308A in our design for monitoring the different power rails. In the design, we have connected all the voltage rails(0.75V, 0.85V, 1.1V, 1.8V & 3.3V) directly through 0E resistors and also given provision for voltage divider(pull down - DNP). Is it mandatory to add 100nF capacitor also across the pull down resistor?

    Since your voltage rails (0.75V, 0.85V, 1.1V, 1.8V, 3.3V) are all within the TMUX1308A's operating range (1.62V–5.5V supply) and connected directly via 0Ω resistors, the pull-down voltage divider is a DNP provision. For noise filtering if the voltage divider is ever populated, but keep the capacitor value small if ADC settling time is a concern.
