ESDS312: ESDS312DBVR Absolute Maximum Rating

Hi,

 

 I see that ESDS312DBVR datasheet provides data for IEC-61000-4-5 Ipp as 25A for Absolute maximum rating. It is the same as Ipp value mentioned in Electrical characteristics. Usually in my experience, Absolute maximum values for Ipp are somewhat higher than what is the TVS rated for in electrical characteristics.

 

Has there been any new revision of its datasheet? What is the true value for absolute maximum rating for IEC-61000-4-5 Ipp? Thanks.

    Hi Vishrut,

    This is not the case in TVS Datasheets. We usually show the clamping voltage at the highest IPP rating for customers interested in pushing devices to their max rating. That being said, we also share clamping voltage at IPP=12A. There is no plan to change datasheet.
