We are looking for an isolated RS-232 transceiver solution with the following specifications:

Data Rate: 1 Mbps
Isolation: Required (isolated RS-232 transceiver)
Operating Temperature Range: -25°C to +105°C or higher
Package Type: Any SMD package acceptable, excluding BGA

Please share suitable part numbers, datasheets, availability, and any relevant technical details for evaluation.

Hi Bhushan,

As Ethan stated, we currently do not have a single chip solution for isolated RS-232 isolation but you could achieve this using two chips offering flexibility with various options for both isolation and RS-232 transceivers.

The above two designs are suitable reference designs. Since they were released few years ago, they use older isolators. I recommend considering the latest digital isolator ISO6421 or ISO6441 and if you prefer power also to be integrated then consider ISOW6441.
