The customer would like to confirm whether the TUSB2E221 supports I2C communication at 400 kHz, and if any special configuration is required. Thank you.

    Hi Yadong,

    Yes, the TUSB2E221 does support 400kHz I2C frequency:

    Depending on the bus speed, we do have recommendations for drive strength based on I2C bus capacitance and RPU value:

    Drive strength can be configured as need with bits 7-6 of register 32h:

    By default, drive strength is 8mA.

    Please have the customer select their drive strength based on their bus speed, RPU value and bus capacitance.
