Part Number: DS160PR410
Dear TI Support Team,
We are using the DS160PR410RNQT as a PCIe x4 redriver between a host processor and a PCIe edge connector.
To avoid PCB trace crossovers, we have remapped only the TX channels through the redriver:
- TX0 → RX3 → TX3 → PCIe TX0
- TX1 → RX2 → TX2 → PCIe TX1
- TX2 → RX1 → TX1 → PCIe TX2
- TX3 → RX0 → TX0 → PCIe TX3
The RX path remains straight-through (RX0→RX0, RX1→RX1, etc.).
The host and PCIe connector lane assignments remain unchanged; only the DS160PR410 channel mapping is reversed.
Could you please confirm whether this channel remapping is acceptable for PCIe operation?
