Hi ti team,

We are developing a new digital mixer product. Due to the large display area, we plan to adopt two pieces of 8.8‑inch TFT panels. We are looking for IC support for screen‑splitting with 3D side‑by‑side mode.

Could you please recommend TI ICs with the following capability: HDMI2.0 / DP1.2 / Type‑C input to dual‑port MIPI DSI output, together with audio extraction function. Thank you.

    Hello,

    The SN65DSI85 converts MIPI DSI to LVDS output, it does not output MIPI DSI.

    Could you tell us more details about your application? Is the Type-C input required to support both HDMI and DP based on what input is connected? Or are you looking for separate chips for each DP/HDMI application?

    For the output, is MIPI DSI the only output format that can be used or is there any alternatives like DP/eDP, LVDS, CSI-2, etc that can also be used?
