I would like to ask a question regarding the signal‑compensation capabilities of the 10 Gbps redriver TUSB1002‑AIRGER:

  1. What is the maximum amount of gain (or attenuation) that can be applied in the Pre‑Channel?
  2. What is the maximum amount of gain (or attenuation) that can be applied in the Post‑Channel?

    Hi William,

    The TUSB1002A is a linear redriver. This means that it can only equalize signals coming into the part. See the diagram below:

    The upstream and downstream capabilities is the same for the pre-channel and post-channel.
