Replacement part for TL16PC564BLVI

We currently have the TL16PC654BLVI in our design and discovered it is now recommended for new design and have a few questions:

  1. When will the device be end of lifed?
  2. What is recommended replacement part(s)?
  3. Is the TL16PC654B the recommended replacement?  The parts look very similar if not identical, what is the difference?  http://www.ti.com/product/tl16pc564b 
  4. What was the reason for the NRND (Not Recommended for New Design)?  Was there an issue with the part functionally or just a business decision?
