DS30BA101: Powering the device

Hi,

DS30BA101 has 2 VCC pins, pins 6 and 9.

There is no indication in the datasheet that it is okay to use only pin 9 and leave pin 6 floating.

And yet, this is exactly the case in DRIVECABLE04EVK schematic, pin 6 is not connected.

So is it okay to leave pin 6 not connected?

What is the function of pin 6?

Hi Yerach,

I would recommend connecting VCC as specified in datasheet. I'm not sure why pin 6 is floating on DRIVECABLE04EVK.
