TCAN1042HV: Confirmation on 5 Mbps Data Rate Support for TCAN1042HVDR

Dear TI Team,

This is Banupriya from iGlobal Embedded Solutions. 

We are currently using the TCAN1042HVDR part in our device.

Could you please confirm whether the TCAN1042HVDR supports a 5 Mbps data rate?

We have tested the TCAN1042HVDR at a 5 Mbps baud rate and observed that it was working. Please find the attached image for your reference.

    Hi Banupriya,

    You will need to select a device with the "G" suffix for proper 5Mbps support. Any failures or support from TI will not be available to you since you will be operating outside the recommended datasheet operating conditions. Additionally, TCAN1042HV may work at 5Mbps, but we further optimize the G version for improved performance at those particular data rates.
