DS125DF410: Hex file support for DS125DF410

Part Number: DS125DF410

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

In one of our program we are using DS125DF410SQE/NOPB Retimer IC for multiple 1G/10G interfaces and for the configuration of the same EEPROM (Microchip MPN: 24CSM01-I/Q4B) is used in the design. We want to configure it for our 1G/10G interfaces on all 4 channels of Retimer, and extract the resulting hex file to use in our custom hardware containing the DS125DF410SQE/NOPB chips. if you could provide a pre-configured hex file for our 1G/10G use case, we can flash it directly onto our custom hardware and proceed.

Thanks & Regards

Pankaj Choudhary

  • Hi Pankaj,

Generally the retimer TX configuration will be system specific, so I would recommend generating hex file with SigCon Architect.

I've attached an EEPROM file supporting 1G/10G to help get you started.  This is intended for retimer address 0x30.

Please also note that the maximum supported EEPROM size is 16 Kbit.  Above this size, EEPROMs use a different addressing scheme.

Please take a look at SNLA245.

    Thanks,

    Drew
