TPS25751: TPS25751DREFR Rise Time Issue

Hi Team,

The rise time of 20Vout is approximately 80ms.

Is it possible to shorten the ascent time?

Will the same problem occur if I switch to TPS25730DREFR?

    Hello,

    Please move to the TPS25751A device.  This will have the latest firmware updates as well as additional features.

    Can you provide me with more details about this application?

    (1) The TPS25751D does not source 20V but only enables the power path.  The slew rate of the 20V will depend upon the characteristics of the source.

    (2) When is the load applied to the VBUS/VSYS?  Per the USBC-PD specification the sink should not load the source until after PS_RDY is received.  Is the load present immediately?

    Yes.  I would expect the behavior to be the same.
