Hi Tony,

The only software that could be needed for our TUSB8044A is the EEPROM tool, and this is only needed if an EEPROM is being used. If there is no external EEPROM, then there is no software needed.

By your information, TUSB8044 didn't have FW, and it is out of CRA scope, is my understanidng correct?
Therefore, we don't need to prepare anything for CRA, right?

Hi Kanter,

There is no FW need for the TUSB8044A, if the hub is being used in it's default configuration then it can be used as-is without any FW or software needs.

Software is only needed if they are performing EEPROM programming through the TUSB8044A. If not needed, then there is no software.
