Hello,

I am in the process of aquiring the parts for an optical DMD. Specifically, I will need DLPLCR67EVM and DLPLCRC900DEVM. However, DLPLCRC900DEVM seems fully out of stock. Is there any alternative available to aquiere this part?

    DigiKey shows 0 today with a 12 week factory lead time, and Octopart only turns up brokers, so nobody I could check has it. It's also the only controller TI lists for the 67, the single DLPLCRC900EVM page doesn't cover the DLP670S. Might be worth asking TI directly for a ship date.

    DigiKey actually recently changed it such that they no longer even accept backorders for DLPLCRC900DEVM, so I am starting to wonder if something happened to this component. Mouser has a lead time of 12 weeks but none in stock. Also the customer support has not been able to give me a lead time.

    Is there any alternative for DLPLCRC900DEVM, such as even alibaba?

    This board in particular has had an immense demand.

    We know we are out of stock but we should have these restocked shortly! We are planning ahead now that we understand the demand as well to hopefully not have this issue arise again.

    Related to your question about alternatives - there are other dual DLPC900 EVM manufacturers that usually make EVMs using our DMDs. After a quick search, there does not seem to be any that produce EVMs with the DLP670S directly. I would not recommend utilizing boards from vendors other than Mouser, Digi-Key, or Arrow.

    I apologize for the EVMs being unavailable, we are actively working to get them back in stock.

    Our board manufacturing shop is finishing up testing and will ship them to be stocked up within inventory shortly.

    This means they should be available within a week or two at the longest.
