Part Number: DS125DF1610
Hi,
I've been trying to get a correct eye output from the datasheet and programming manual but there seems to be an issue with the edge rate of the eye.
tr and tf seem to be misaligned when the matrix is read out as shown in the image above.
because the same feature exists around 0V on both the left and right side, my preliminary assessment is that the rows have accumulated some phase shifting correlating to specific voltage levels.
Some relationship like: row_offset ∝ |mV|
There is also a discrepancy in the datasheet versus the programming manual.
The programming guide (21 August 2014) states that we need to discard the first four bytes (two 16-bit words) of the eye readout data.
The datasheet (Rev. B, January 2017) states that we need to discard the first four 16-bit words (eight bytes) of the eye readout data.
Can I please get confirmation on:
1. If some relationship like: row_offset ∝ |mV| exists in the hardware that misaligns the real edge rate?
2. What is the correct number of bytes to discard at the beginning of an eye readout?
Regards,
Liang
