TLIN1021A-Q1: LIN transceiver in 48V automotive system

Dear TI experts,

My customer consider TLIN1021A-Q1 for their new project. It is related to 48V automotive system.

I can find 3 LIN transceivers in TI.com which can consider 48V system ;

  • TLIN1021A-Q1 : Supply 4.5~48V / Bus fault voltage -60~60V
  • TLIN1029A-Q1 : Supply 4~48V / Bus fault voltage -60~60V
  • TLIN4029A-Q1 : Supply 4~48V / Bus fault voltage -70~70V

I think TLIN4029A-Q1 is the best choice it has the widest bus fault voltage range.

But considering the price, do you think that TLIN1021A-Q1 or TLIN1029A-Q1 are also good choices?

I also have to think about load transient, etc... so I think -60~60V bus fault voltage is less reliable compared to -70~70V.

Could you give me your opinion about it?
