Could you check the maximum power dissipation (W) in case of 100mA LDO current consumption?

It is good to also check the parameter in the datasheet for calculation.

Hi Chase,

In such a case, power may be estimated with P = I * V.

As an example with 12 V VSUP and 5 V VCC, P should imply (12 V - 5 V) * 100 mA as ~ 0. 7 W, thanks.

Thank you for your support.

How about the power dissipation of LIN transceiver itself? I think it is very small but still it has certain value.

Then I can add power dissipation of LDO module and LIN transceiver itself.
