DS90UB921-Q1: Back-channel GPIO latency and jitter specification

Part Number: DS90UB921-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DS90UH925Q-Q1, DS90UH926Q-Q1, DS90UH925AQ-Q1,

Hello,

I could not find the propagation delay and jitter specifications for the Back-channel GPIO function in the datasheets or TI E2E forum.

For other FPD-Link III devices, I found that TI specifies typical Back-channel GPIO latency and jitter depending on the Back-channel rate.

Could you please provide the typical and/or maximum latency and jitter for the following devices?

  • DS90UH925Q-Q1 / DS90UH926Q-Q1
  • DS90UH925AQ-Q1 / DS90UH926Q
  • DS90UB921-Q1 / DS90UB922-Q1

Specifically, we are interested in the timing from a GPIO transition at the Deserializer input to the corresponding GPIO transition at the Serializer output.

If these values are not specified, could you please let us know the expected latency and jitter or the appropriate way to estimate them?

Thank you.
