SN65MLVD200A: Tj Spec Needs

Hi team,

My customer is evaluating SN65MLVD200A and they have two support needs as below:

  1. What's the specs of Tj_max of SN65MLVD200A? Customers needs such do thermal evaluation. Local venders provide such data even it is not listed on their datasheet.
  2. Customers' needs: 100Mbps, type1 MLVDS, soic8 package, 105 Ta. I don't find suitable device with 105C Ta, could you kindly check whether suitable device? Pls also help comment why TI suitable device not mark at 105CTa? Thanks.

    The maximum operating junction temperature is 125 C. Keep in mind that they have to stay within the recommended operating free air temperature for that specification to hold.

    The only device we have specified above 85C is the SN65MLVD204B, but only in the RUM package. That device/package combination is specified for -40 to 125C. The SN65MLVD200A will continue to work past 85C, but it was only characterized and specified for the -40 to 85C range. The same is true for the other 85C limited devices.
