Hi, I have a question relating to hardware design:
Currently we are using DP83848KSQ/NOPB for our Radio Unit design for UDE function.
We want to make sure that our board can pass the 4kV surge test. According to the simulation, 2 capacitors in parallel are added to the center tap of the transformer on PHY side (de-cap for 3.3V pull up) can help our board to endure with the surge pulse.
However, these cap's values are 2.2uF (P/N: C2012X7R1C225KT of TDK) are larger than 100nF as in TI's recommendation for Typ. aplication (Figure 7-2, Section 7.2, SNLS250E datasheet)
I want to know whether the using of C28&C29's value 2.2 uF is acceptable or not for DP83848KSQ/NOPB operations.
