TCAN3404-Q1: Resistor value of RL

Could you help us understand what resistor value we should use for RL? In our design, we use two 62ohm resistor for split termination, which is equivalent to 120ohm as standard termination. However, the datasheet specifies many parameters with RL = 60ohm (e.x. 6.8 Electrical Characteristics).

    Hi Mizumoto,

    Yes, similar to the electrical characteristics, RL of 45 to 70 ohm should work just. It just depends on the load / number of nodes as explained in 9.2.2 of the data sheet.

    However, 62 is already closer to 60 and should not be a concern, thanks.
