The device I just bought has very slow data transfer speeds, which don't match the specifications published for the device. I think the problem lies in the device's hardware

Hello Linh,

Ensure to enable the pull-ups on the USB2GPIO. If it is set to open-drain, starting up the GUI will be very slow, I believe new systems will have the integrated pull-up resistors to open-drain, which can make things very slow.
