We are facing an issue with the LM25066IAPSQE/NOPB in the below power circuit:
- The VIN and VDD pins of the LM25066IAPSQE/NOPB are getting shorted frequently during testing.
- We are providing 12 V input to the drain of the CSD16401Q5 MOSFET.
- The MOSFET drain is measuring approximately 12 V, but the source output is only 2.08 V.
- The input fuse (F3) is currently DNP.
- The components marked DNP in the LM25066 application circuit have been populated as per the required design.
- We would like to confirm whether the MOSFET orientation, LM25066 gate-drive circuit, DNP component population, or any other part of the design could be causing this issue.
Could you please review the schematic and advise on the possible cause of the LM25066 VIN/VDD short and the low MOSFET source voltage, along with the recommended troubleshooting steps or design changes?
