The SN65C3232EPWR is a 2-channel device, but if only one channel is used, pins 10, 9, 8, and 7 will remain unused.
The datasheet states that when RIN (INPUT) is open, ROUT (OUTPUT) is “H.”
Q1
In this case, is it correct to assume that the unused ROUT side (Pin 9) should be set to a high voltage using a pull-up resistor?
Q2
Regarding the input pins RIN2 (Pin 8) and DIN2 (Pins 10 and 7), should they be left open, or do they require pull-up or pull-down resistors?
