TPS26744E-Q1: Access to TPS2674X-Q1-RESOURCES

Part Number: TPS26744E-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS65994AD,

Information is necessary for us to decide if our follow on design can be set up with parts from this TI family.

Actual we are using TPS65994AD in our existing designs. This part is stated as NRFND. Our customer treats this as an possible major impact concerning his project supply chain. So we are requested by our customer to do all checks (formal and functional) how to handle this and prepare a solution for a possible redesign.

  • Hi Dirk,

Please request for the full datasheet and other documents on the product page https://www.ti.com/product/TPS26744E-Q1

And TPS26744E-Q1 is an automotive rated device. If you are looking candidates for non-auto projects, there could be other options.

==> That is actually the reason why I used the https://www.ti.com/supportform to get this access to the TPS2674X-Q1 resources

In parallel I tried to get access to the evalboard information

PS: As we are involved in development of several devices for military vehicles an automotive rated device would be a pleasure to use unless a military grade rated can be procured. We need DP Alternate Mode with HPD signalling via GPIO pin and working as DFP, UFP as well as DRD. this is what we actually do with TPS65994AD.

Irrelevant would be if we have to use two separated controller or a dual controller to fulfil the requirement of handlicng two USB-C ports in our devices.

    Regards,

    Dirk
